For Boostpoint to manage your Facebook ads, administrative permissions are required (such as managing ads, business, page, and accessing leads). Typically as an administrator of your businesses’ Facebook page, you would grant these permissions to Boostpoint yourself. However, if your page is operated by a business manager, some of these permissions can not be granted even if you are the administrator of the facebook page.
If you are both the administrator of your businesses’ page and a business manager, these permissions should be granted seamlessly. However, this is not typically the case. Most commonly a business manager will operate your page because an agency set up your businesses’ Facebook page. If someone else is in the business manager role, you can either request that they grant your personal Facebook account business manager administrator permissions, or that they simply approve Boostpoint’s permission request themselves.
